How To Make a Lemonade Iced Coffee
Summer is right around the corner which means it’s time to create refreshing coffee beverages.
This recipe is for coffee drinkers who enjoy a sweet and acidic taste when it comes to coffee (or wine, we like both). It’s one of these recipes where you either LOVE it, or HATE it, there’s no middle ground. One thing’s for sure, though, you MUST try it 🙂
Lemonade Iced Coffee Variations
– Raw Brown Sugar: If you prefer raw brown sugar as a sweetener, then make your lemonade mixture with it for a softer, sweeter result.
– Store bought Lemonade: If you have a go-to lemonade brand that you love, you can mix it with your favorite coffee instead of the lemonade mixture in the recipe.
– Try it with Cold Brew: This recipe will also taste great if you substitute your iced coffee with cold brew
How To Make It
Create the lemonade mixture: In a mixing bottle, add the natural lemon juice, the sweetener (maple syrup) and water to dilute. This will be your abridged version of a home-made lemonade.
Add your coffee dose: Fill up a glass with ice cubes to the top and add your shot of coffee.
Serve it up: add the lemonade mixture on top of the coffee in the glass full of ice to fill it up completely. Mix well

Ingredients
½ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 dose of espresso or cup of regular coffee
1 teaspoon maple syrup
250 ml of water
1 glass of Ice cubes
Directions
Step 1 – In a mixing bottle, add the lemon juice, maple syrup and water. Mix well with a spoon to let the ingredients blend together. Place it aside
Step 2 – Fill up a glass of your choice with ice cubes. Brew the espresso into the glass full of ice cubes. Alternatively, if the glass is too large for your coffee machine, you can brew the coffee in a small container then pour it over the glass of ice.
Step 3 – Pour the lemonade mixture you created in Step 1 into the glass to fill it up completely. Use a spoon to mix it well.
Step 4 – Garnish your drink with half a slice of lemon.
